The CGBC was founded in 2004 by a group of professionals who wanted to make a positive impact on the Boulder community. Boulder is a leader in creating mandatory green building standards for all new residential projects and renovations larger than 500 square feet. The CGBC takes this spirit one step further in creating even higher standards in order to create healthier and more energy efficient spaces. They believe that “green building is good building.” More recently, the board of the “Boulder Green Building Guild” voted to evolve the organization into the “Colorado Green Building Guild” to include the entire state. This expanded influence has opened up even more opportunities for training, innovation, and collaboration. We are proud to be a part of the green building history in the state of Colorado. Not only that, we are thankful for the partnership, friendship, and resource that the CGBC and other sustainably-focused organizations have been to our firm.
